Conduent Business Services, LLC, a company that provides back-office support such as printing, mailroom, document processing, and payment integrity services for other businesses, has notified individuals about a cyber incident. Conduent says it discovered on January 13, 2025 that it was the victim of a cyber incident affecting part of its network, and its investigation determined that an unauthorized third party had access to its systems from October 21, 2024 to January 13, 2025. During that window, the intruder obtained files belonging to one of Conduent’s clients, and Conduent later determined that some of those files contained your personal information. This fits a pattern of back-office service providers being targeted, since these companies often hold personal data on behalf of many different organizations at once.
