Maritz Holdings Inc, a sales and marketing services company that runs customer loyalty and employee incentive programs for other businesses, has notified individuals about a cybersecurity incident affecting its Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) system. Maritz uses this software internally for finance functions like invoicing and payments. In October 2025, Oracle disclosed a previously unknown vulnerability in EBS. After investigating, Maritz determined that an unauthorized third party had already exploited that flaw and gained access to its EBS environment between August 10 and August 13, 2025 — before the vulnerability was even publicly known. Maritz has classified this as a hacking or system intrusion, engaged outside cybersecurity experts, and notified law enforcement.
