Century Support Services Data Breach

Century Support Services, operated by Next Level Finance Partners, LLC, has notified individuals that an unauthorized party gained access to its computer systems on or about November 7, 2024. The company says it contained the activity immediately and brought in cybersecurity experts to investigate, but it wasn’t until an extensive forensic review and manual document check concluded on or about May 30, 2025 that it confirmed personal information had been contained in the files that may have been accessed or acquired. This type of incident, where an outside party breaks into internal systems, is generally categorized as a hacking or system intrusion.

The notice does not provide a single aggregate number of people affected nationwide, but it does confirm that at least 22 Rhode Island residents were impacted, and it references separate state-specific guidance suggesting individuals across multiple states received this letter. If you received this notice, it means your specific file was identified as one that may have contained exposed information.

What information was exposed?
  • Full name
  • Date of birth
  • Social Security number
  • Driver’s license and/or state identification number
  • Medical information
  • Health insurance information
  • Passport number
  • Financial account information
  • Digital signature

Century Support Services says that if you’re concerned your Social Security number was involved, you can call its response line to obtain a complimentary credit monitoring code and enrollment instructions: call (866) 910-0146, available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM Eastern Time.

What should you do now?
  • Call the number above to confirm whether you’re eligible for the free credit monitoring code and complete enrollment as soon as possible.
  • Place a free one-year fraud alert with any one of the three major credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, or TransUnion) — once one bureau is notified, it will alert the other two.
  • Consider placing a security freeze on your credit file with all three bureaus, which blocks new accounts from being opened in your name without your explicit authorization.
  • Request your free annual credit reports at annualcreditreport.com or by calling 1-877-322-8228, and review them closely for accounts or inquiries you don’t recognize.
  • Because Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, and financial account details were involved, consider signing up for a service like Aura or LifeLock, which can alert you if your information appears elsewhere.
  • Watch your explanation of benefits statements from your health insurance company for services you don’t recognize, since medical information was also involved, and follow up directly with your provider on anything unfamiliar.
  • Keep monitoring your financial and credit accounts for the next twelve to twenty-four months, as recommended in the notice, and report any suspicious activity to your bank or card issuer immediately.
  • If you find evidence of fraud, file a report with your local police department and with the FTC at ftc.gov/idtheft or 1-877-438-4338.

If you have questions about this incident or your eligibility for credit monitoring, Century Support Services can be reached at (866) 910-0146, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM Eastern Time.
