AllTrust, a company that provides software operations services to money service businesses across the United States, has notified certain individuals about a data security incident involving its subsidiary, Aspire USA, LLC. According to the letter, AllTrust’s internal security team spotted unusual activity on a non-production computer network in mid-February 2024 and interrupted an in-progress file transfer. A follow-up investigation with third-party forensic specialists determined that an unauthorized actor had accessed the network between February 12 and February 15, 2024, and took files during that window. The investigation could not confirm exactly which files within the accessed systems were viewed or taken, which is why AllTrust conducted an extensive review afterward to identify whose information may have been present.
